Christian Walz has been involved in metal, machining and fabrication work for close to 30 years. Years ago, he and his wife Shigi chose Vankleek Hill as their homebase. Metec is now housed in a 5,200 square-foot facility in Vankleek Hill’s industrial park.

 

Many people choose their career or trade because of a specific interest. Artists
do it because of an attraction for shapes, shades, colours and landscapes; health
professionals do it because they like treating people; accountants serve their customers
thanks to a special gift in dealing with numbers. Christian Walz founded his own
business for the love of metal… working it, that is.
